Stripe is seeking a leader for the Mobile Development Productivity engineering team to define and drive the platform that powers mobile apps and device-integrated software. You will shape technical strategy, partner with cross‑functional teams, and mentor engineers to deliver reliable, secure builds and release workflows.

You will scale the team, hire and coach engineers, establish a roadmap, and ensure alignment with product and infrastructure leaders.

• Lead, support, and grow a team of engineers by hiring, coaching, mentoring, and creating opportunities for development.
• Define the team’s technical strategy, goals, and roadmap, translating organizational priorities and internal user needs into clear execution plans.
• Partner with mobile product teams, infrastructure teams, and technical leaders to identify shared development challenges and align stakeholders around reusable solutions.
• Collaborate with staff engineers on architecture and strategic technical decisions across development environments, continuous integration, automated testing, and secure build and release systems.
• Establish high standards for reliability, security, engineering craft, and operational rigor across the systems the team owns.
