Job summary

Stripe is seeking an experienced engineering leader for Money Movement to shape the technical roadmap and drive the systems that move payments globally. You will lead design efforts across core APIs, ensure scalable and reliable infrastructure, and mentor senior engineers in a hybrid, globally distributed team.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering experience with impact across multiple teams or systems.
• Experience designing and shipping large-scale distributed backend systems that are highly available and financially correct.
• Experience leading cross-functional engineering projects end-to-end from requirements to post-launch iteration.
• Strong API design instincts and the ability to build simple interfaces over complex financial and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Scope, design, build, and maintain APIs, services, and large-scale systems for money movement.
• Debug and solve production issues across services; mentor engineers to grow.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to build features at large scale while improving internal standards and tooling.
