Job summary

Heartland Community Health Center is seeking a Full-Time Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) for a hybrid role serving children in schools and Heartland clinics. The RDH will perform preventive and diagnostic services, with duties spanning mobile outreach and in-clinic care, while collaborating with medical teams to integrate care.

The position offers a $5,000 sign-on bonus, monthly productivity incentives, and a PSLF-eligible plan with NHSC loan repayment potential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Graduate of a certified RDH program.
• Current CPR certification required and maintained.
• Demonstrated sensitivity to diverse populations.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, databases and standard office equipment.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide preventive and rehabilitative dental services including cleanings, sealants, X-rays, and assessments.
• Rotate between community-based outreach and clinic settings in Heartland locations.
• Educate patients on oral health and dental care team roles.
• Maintain infection control and OSHA guidelines.
• Document procedures and data accurately in electronic health records.
• Collaborate with medical teams for dental screenings and referrals.
