Job summary

Heartland Community Health Center – Lawrence, KS is seeking a Part-Time Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) to provide preventive care, including cleanings, sealants, X-rays, and patient education in a community-focused clinic.

The RDH will work under the Chief Dental Officer, offering flexible schedules (including 4-day workweeks) and opportunities for PSLF eligibility and additional benefits, with a supportive, integrated care environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a certified Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) program.
• Current Kansas RDH license required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Provide preventive and rehabilitative dental hygiene services (cleanings, sealants, X-rays).
• Perform scaling/root planing and apply topical agents as needed.
• Maintain infection control and OSHA standards.
• Educate patients on oral health and hygiene practices.
• Document findings in electronic health records.
