Job summary

360care is seeking a Dental Assistant to visit long term care facilities and support physicians with dental care. You will maintain clinical records in EMR, assist with patient care, and ensure equipment readiness and safety.

Responsibilities include updating the odontogram, passing instruments, and managing dental supplies while complying with OSHA and HIPAA. A valid license and reliable transport are required for travel within a 2.5 hour radius.

Qualifications

• High School education or GED is required.
• Medical/Dental Assistant experience preferred.
• Must have reliable transportation and a good driving record.
• Two-step TB test completed.
• Hepatitis B vaccination preferred.
• State radiation license or certificate required.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentist with patient care in a prompt and courteous manner.
• Maintain clinical records and dental charts in EMR.
• Pass instruments, manage supplies, and keep the area clean.
• Update odontogram for every patient encounter.
• Post charges to the provider promptly and accurately.
• Maintain and inspect dental equipment; perform preventive maintenance.
• Ensure OSHA and HIPAA guidelines are followed.
• Travel up to 100% within a 2.5 hour radius.
