Job summary

360care is seeking a Dental Assistant/Support staff to visit long-term care facilities and assist physicians with dental care. You will maintain electronic medical records, update odontograms, pass instruments, and ensure equipment and area cleanliness while supporting patients and dentists.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED, valid transportation, and a good driving record. TB test, HIPAA compliance, and ability to travel within a 2.5 hour radius are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Two-step TB test completion is required.
• Hepatitis B vaccination preferred.
• State radiation license/certificate required.
• Good computer skills and medical terminology experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to follow directions and listen to patient and doctor needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentist with patient care in a prompt and courteous manner.
• Maintain clinical records and charts via EMR; ensure accuracy and integrity of documentation.
• Update patient odontogram after each encounter.
• Pass instruments and supplies to dentist during care.
• Maintain and clean dental and facility areas; sanitize equipment.
• Manage patient flow and scheduling in coordination with branch offices.
• Post dental charges accurately to the provider in a timely manner.
• Travel up to 100% within a 2.5 hour radius and service multiple facilities.
