Job summary

360care is seeking a Dental Assistant to visit long-term care facilities and assist physicians with dental care. You will maintain EMR records, update odontograms, and support the dental team across various sites.

Responsibilities include patient care, instrument passing, equipment maintenance, and accurate charge posting. Must have transportation and the ability to travel up to 100% within a 2.5 hour radius, with HIPAA/OSHA compliance.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Medical/Dental Assistant experience preferred.
• Own reliable transportation, good driving record and car insurance.
• Two-step TB test completed.
• Hepatitis B vaccination preferred.
• State radiation license or certificate.
• Good computer skills and medical terminology experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to follow directions and listen to patients and doctors.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentist with patient care promptly.
• Maintain and verify clinical records and medical history in EMR.
• Update odontogram for each patient encounter.
• Pass instruments to the dentist.
• Maintain clean and organized treatment area.
• Manage patient flow and coordinate scheduling with facilities.
• Post dental charges accurately to the provider.
• Perform preventive maintenance on dental equipment.
• Travel to long-term care facilities up to 100% within a 2.5 hour radius.
• Maintain HIPAA and OSHA compliance.
