Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate from a California Board-approved RDA education program.
• Current California Registered Dental Assistant License.
• Current BLS Certification from the American Heart Association.
• Infection Control Certificate.
• California Dental Practice Act Certificate.
• Current California Driver’s License and clean driving record.
• Familiarity with dental terminology and instruments.
• Knowledge of health care delivery standards.
• Availability to work non-standard shifts and Saturdays.
• Proficient with electronic health record data entry.

Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist in delivering direct dental services.
• Register and check in patients.
• Work chairside with the dentist.
• Prepare the operatory and sterilize instruments.
• Monitor inventory of supplies and instruments.

Skills

Bilingual (English/Spanish)

Familiarity with dental terminology

Computer proficiency (Microsoft Office)

Education
