Job summary

Wellstar Medical Group operates a mobile CT unit in Augusta, GA. We seek a CT Technologist who delivers safe, high-quality imaging and a positive patient experience in a collaborative team.

The role requires ARRT credentials (Radiography/CT) and at least 1 year of Radiology experience, with a sign-on bonus and relocation assistance for eligible candidates. A full-time schedule with 40 hours per week is expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology.
• ARRT-R (Radiography) certification.
• ARRT-CT – ARRT Computed Tomography certification.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines and capture quality diagnostic images.
• Operate imaging/radiographic equipment independently, maintaining dose within ALARA principles.
• Clean, disinfect, and maintain rooms/equipment per infection control schedules.
• Verify orders and patient identifiers; obtain clinical history and screen for contraindications.
• Explain procedures, prep, and post-care using AIDET; address patient questions and reduce anxiety.
• Review images for diagnostic acceptability; complete documentation and finalize studies in RIS/PACS.
