Job summary

Wellstar Health System is seeking a CT Technologist to perform a wide range of CT procedures, including cardiac CT, with emphasis on safety and image quality. You will prepare patients, obtain histories, and ensure proper protocol adherence.

The role requires at least 2 years of clinical CT experience with ARRT certification and completion of WellStar CT training. On-site work in a busy radiology department, day/evening shifts, and a $20,000 sign-on bonus are offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years clinical CT experience.
• ARRT-CT or ARRT-R certification required.
• Completion of accredited CT program and WellStar CT training.

Responsibilities

• Obtains complete clinical history and assesses contraindications.
• Administers contrast per procedures to minimize patient risk.
• Ensures proper patient identification and study labeling.
• Reviews images for clinical quality and releases patients.
• Performs CT procedures with sterile technique and patient prep.
• Assigns timers, protocols and positionings per department protocols.
