Job summary

The CT Technologist at Wellstar Health Systems delivers high-quality imaging and patient care on Wellstar Medical Group's New Mobile CT Unit in Augusta, GA. The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and compassionate patient interaction in a fast-paced mobile setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Completed accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology.
• ARRT-R (Radiography), ARRT-CT and BLS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines and capture quality diagnostic images.
• Operate imaging/radiographic equipment safely and maintain diagnostic image quality at the lowest reasonable dose (ALARA).
• Clean, disinfect, and maintain rooms/equipment per infection control schedules; report issues promptly.
• Obtain clinical history, screen contraindications, verify orders and two unique patient identifiers.
