Job summary

Wellstar West Georgia Medical Center in Georgia is seeking a CT Technologist to deliver safe, high-quality imaging and a positive patient experience. You will work within a collaborative care team, performing CT procedures and supporting diagnostic workflows.

The role requires ARRT radiography/CT credentials, 1 year of radiology experience, and BLS, with a full‑time schedule, sign‑on bonus, and relocation assistance available for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines and capture high-quality diagnostic images.
• Operate imaging equipment safely, adhere to ALARA principles, and ensure patient comfort and safety.
• Maintain clean, organized rooms and equipment per infection control schedules.
• Obtain clinical history, verify orders, and identify patients before exams.
• Explain procedures using AIDET and address patient questions to reduce anxiety.
• Complete accurate documentation and finalize studies in RIS/PACS.
