Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in Radiology
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program (ARRT)
• ARRT certifications listed, Basic Life Support

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures according to department guidelines and capture quality diagnostic images.
• Operate imaging equipment safely and maintain ALARA standards.
• Disinfect and prepare rooms/equipment per infection control schedules.
• Verify patient identity, orders, and clinical history prior to exams.
• Explain procedures and prep using AIDET to reduce patient anxiety.
• Ensure patient comfort, privacy, and safety throughout the visit.
• Administer contrast per protocol and perform venipuncture when needed.
• Position patients and apply markers and shielding as indicated.
• Review and finalize images and document in RIS/PACS; manage transfers if required.
• Monitor patient condition and respond to emergencies; restock equipment as needed.
• Organize daily workflow to meet timeframes and support department operations.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and escalate issues to supervisor.
