Job summary

The State of South Carolina's Office of Mental Health is seeking a Mental Health Professional I / Mobile Crisis to provide triage, crisis intervention, assessment and short-term therapy across York, Chester, and Lancaster counties from CCMHC in Rock Hill.

You will be responsible for on-site crisis assessment, develop safety plans, connect clients with resources, and collaborate with the Mobile Crisis team and clinic staff. Requires a Master’s degree and licensure eligibility within 3 years.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in guidance, counseling, or the social sciences and two (2) years of experience in a clinical counseling program.

Responsibilities

• Provide triage, crisis intervention, assessment and therapy services as part of the Mobile Crisis team.
• Provide emergency assessments of clients experiencing crisis and arrange immediate disposition when needed.
• Engage in outreach with community partners and support services across multiple counties.
