Phoenix Counseling Center is recruiting a Psychiatric Nurse for a 24/7 crisis unit. You will provide professional nursing care to acutely and chronically ill consumers, conduct assessments, and assist in treatment planning alongside a multidisciplinary team.

The role includes leading RN staff, scheduling, training, and ensuring compliance with policies, HIPAA, and record management. Evening/night shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of laws and regulations pertaining to psychiatric nursing and patient safety.
• Understanding of psychotropic medications and monitoring requirements.
• Familiarity with mental health resources and community services.

Responsabilités

• Provide nursing care for acutely and chronically ill mental health and substance users.
• Lead nursing staff, schedule shifts and train nurses in duties and requirements.
• Administer medications, monitor effects, and educate on purpose and side effects.
• Obtain histories, vital signs, labs, and assist physicians with exams.
• Develop discharge plans and maintain accurate charts and logs.
