Job summary

Okanogan Behavioral Health Care is seeking a Mobile Crisis Responder to provide direct behavioral health interventions in crisis situations and to work as part of a mobile crisis team alongside designated crisis responders and law enforcement.

You will refer clients to resources, support stabilization, and help enroll in behavioral health and SUD services as indicated. The role demands excellent communication, computer skills, and integrity.

Qualifications

• Must have a minimum of 1 year education or experience in a mental health or related field.
• Must have a current, unrestricted Washington State driver's license.
• Excellent communication skills, proficiency with computers, and a high degree of ethics and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct behavioral health interventions to community members in distress/crisis situations.
• Provides follow up support and stabilization including behavioral health and SUD enrollment when indicated.
• Works closely and interactively with Designated Crisis Responders and Mental Health Professionals.
• Refers clients to community resources and other organizations as necessary.
