Job summary

South County Mental Health Center, Inc. seeks a Mobile Response Team Specialist to deliver emergency evaluations, crisis intervention, risk assessments, safety planning, and therapeutic services in the community.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social sciences or related field required.
• Two years crisis behavioral health experience required.
• Knowledge of evaluation, assessment, and crisis intervention techniques.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Valid FL Driver License.

Responsibilities

• Provide crisis intervention in the community.
• Assess individuals requesting emergency services.
• Respond to crisis situations and conduct risk assessments.
• Complete safety planning with individuals in crisis.
• Provide in-home and therapeutic services using an interactive approach.
• Follow up with at least three interventions face-to-face or by phone.
• Coordinate referrals and discharge planning.
• Attend staff and treatment team meetings.
• Conduct community outreach as needed.
