Job summary

South County Mental Health Center, Inc. seeks a Mobile Response Team Specialist to deliver emergency evaluations, crisis intervention, and safety planning in community settings.

The role coordinates referrals, follow-up services, discharge planning, and connects clients with appropriate supports. The position supports individuals in behavioral health crises with in-home and field-based therapy, requires strong teamwork, direct crisis experience, and a Florida driver's license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Social Sciences, Social Work, or related field is required.
• Two (2) years of crisis behavioral health services experience.
• Knowledge of evaluation, assessment, and crisis intervention techniques.
• Demonstrated resilience in trauma and mental health settings.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Valid FL Driver License.

Responsibilities

• Provide crisis intervention to individuals located in the community.
• Assess individuals requesting emergency services and conduct risk assessments.
• Respond to crisis situations and complete safety planning.
• Provide in-home and therapeutic services using an interactive approach.
• Ensure a minimum of three follow-up interventions through face-to-face or telephone contact.
• Coordinate referrals, transportation, releases of information, and attendance at initial appointments.
• Attend staff meetings and treatment team meetings; conduct community outreach as needed.
• Maintain records and logs of mobile crisis assessments and community contacts; participate in quality improvement activities.
