Job summary

New Horizons of the Treasure Coast is seeking a Mobile Responder to provide crisis intervention services throughout the community. The role involves responding to emergency mental health situations and conducting screenings to determine appropriate dispositions for individuals in distress.

Ideal candidates will possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field and hold a current Florida license. Experience with crisis response and diverse populations is preferred.

Stipends are available for registered interns and licensed individuals after three months of employment.

Qualifications

• Experience working with chronic and acute mental illness.
• Valid Florida Driver’s License with 6 points or less in the last 5 years.
• Must pass Level 2 Background through DCF.

Responsibilities

• Respond to MRT/211 calls for crisis intervention services.
• Conduct emergency mental health screenings and provide dispositions.
• Support unlicensed staff with assessments and consultations.
