The City of Virginia Beach Department of Human Services is hiring a Mobile Crisis Response Clinician II to rapidly assess and respond to behavioral health crises in the city and surrounding areas.

Qualified candidates must be QMHP registered; experience with crisis work and adult mental health is preferred. The role involves complex assessments, documentation, and collaboration with regional agencies.

Formación

• Requires QMHP registration with the Virginia Board of Counseling.
• Experience in crisis work focusing on adults with mental health and substance use disorders.
• Ability to complete complex assessments and evaluations.

Responsabilidades

• Respond to Crisis Hub calls to provide community crisis services for adults in acute psychiatric crisis.
• Complete clinical documentation and timely billing information submission.
• Provide immediate crisis response including face-to-face service with clients and families.
• Conduct intake and crisis-specific assessments, obtain mental health history, and formulate diagnoses.
• Develop Crisis Education and Prevention Plans and update diagnoses as needed with client/family.
