Job summary

Canvas Health's Mobile Crisis Practitioner role in Fridley, MN offers critical crisis support to individuals in their homes, clinics, and through telehealth. You will triage calls, conduct assessments, and provide compassionate crisis intervention as part of the mobile crisis response team.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree in behavioral sciences and 2,000+ supervised hours. A 40-hour work week, Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm, applies, with a retention bonus of up to $5,000.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in behavioral sciences.
• Completed 2,000 or more hours of delivering supervised services to clients with mental illness, substance use disorder, or emotional disturbance.
• Experience with diverse populations is preferred.
• Experience delivering in-home or crisis services is preferred.
• Experience with Electronic Health Record systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones to triage and determine the need for mobile crisis response and coordinate initial assessment.
• Provide diagnostic and crisis assessment and intervention as part of the mobile crisis team.
• Deliver services in-home, in-office, and via telehealth.

$5,000 Retention Bonus!!

The candidate selected for this position may be eligible for a retention bonus of up to $5,000. An initial sum of $2,500 will be paid after the completion of six months in this role, with the balance disbursed after twelve months of service. To qualify for the full bonus, the individual must maintain employment in this position for at least twelve months. The bonus is non-transferable to other roles.

Base Salary: $54,549.47 - $63,162.54/annually

The expected compensation range for this position represents a good faith estimate for this position and the specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, experience, and/or FTE.

Position Summary

This position is responsible for answering phones to triage and determine the need for mobile crisis response, providing diagnostic and crisis assessment, crisis intervention and additional therapeutic services as indicated, as a member of a mobile crisis response team. Services are provided in-home (Mobile Crisis Response), office-based, and telehealth.

Schedule

40 hours a week Monday through Friday, 8am - 5pm

Minimum Qualifications

Practitioner

• Possess a bachelor's degree or higher in behavioral sciences.

AND

• Completed 2,000 or more hours of delivering supervised services to clients with mental illness, substance use disorder, or emotional disturbance

OR

• Currently serving a federally recognized tribe and meets the definition of "vendor of medical care."

Preferred Qualification

• Experience working with and/or delivering services to diverse populations
• Experience delivering either in-home or crisis services
• Experience with Electronic Health Record systems
