Job summary

Canvas Health in Shakopee, MN is seeking a Mobile Crisis Clinical Trainee to join our mobile crisis response team. The role involves answering phones to triage needs, conducting diagnostic assessments, crisis intervention, and delivering services in-home, at our clinics, and via telehealth.

The position requires a Master's Degree in Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, Psychology, or Clinical Counseling, with licensure pursued (LICSW/LMFT/LP/LPCC).

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, Psychology, or Clinical Counseling and must be pursuing LICSW, LMFT, LP or LPCC licensure.
• Experience with diverse populations preferred.
• Experience delivering in-home or crisis services preferred.
• Experience with Electronic Health Record systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Triage mobile crisis needs by phone and determine level of care.
• Provide diagnostic and crisis assessment and crisis intervention.
• Deliver services in-home, office-based, and via telehealth as part of the mobile crisis response team.

$5,000 Retention Bonus!!

The candidate selected for this position may be eligible for a retention bonus of up to $5,000. An initial sum of $2,500 will be paid after the completion of six months in this role, with the balance disbursed after twelve months of service. To qualify for the full bonus, the individual must maintain employment in this position for at least twelve months. The bonus is non-transferable to other roles.

Salary

Clinical Trainee

Base Salary: $60,004.41 - $69,478.79/annually

The expected compensation range for this position represents a good faith estimate for this position and the specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, experience, and/or FTE.

Position Summary

This position is responsible for answering phones to triage and determine the need for mobile crisis response, providing diagnostic and crisis assessment, crisis intervention and additional therapeutic services as indicated, as a member of a mobile crisis response team. Services are provided in‑home (Mobile Crisis Response), office-based, and telehealth.

Schedule

Monday - Friday, typical hours are between the hours of 8am to 5pm

Minimum Qualifications

Clinical Trainee

• Master's Degree in Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, Psychology, or Clinical Counseling and must be currently pursuing LICSW, LMFT, LP or LPCC licensure.

Preferred Qualification

• Experience working with and/or delivering services to diverse populations
• Experience delivering either in-home or crisis services
• Experience with Electronic Health Record systems
