Job summary

Canvas Health in Shakopee, MN, seeks a Mobile Crisis Practitioner to triage calls, perform diagnostic and crisis assessments, and provide crisis intervention and therapy as part of a mobile crisis response team. Services are delivered in-home, in an office setting, and through telehealth.

The position offers a base salary of $54,549.47–$63,162.54 annually, plus a retention bonus of up to $5,000 with payments after six and twelve months of service, dependent on continued employment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in behavioral sciences or higher.
  • 2,000+ hours of delivering supervised services to clients with mental illness, substance use disorders, or emotional disturbance.

Responsibilities

  • Triage and determine the need for mobile crisis response, provide diagnostic and crisis assessment.
  • Deliver crisis intervention and additional therapeutic services as indicated.
  • Provide services in-home (Mobile Crisis Response), in offices, and via telehealth.

Mobile Crisis Practitioner
$5,000 Retention Bonus!!

The candidate selected for this position may be eligible for a retention bonus of up to $5,000. An initial sum of $2,500 will be paid after the completion of six months in this role, with the balance disbursed after twelve months of service. To qualify for the full bonus, the individual must maintain employment in this position for at least twelve months. The bonus is non-transferable to other roles.

Base Salary:$54,549.47 - $63,162.54/annually

The expected compensation range for this position represents a good faith estimate for this position and the specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, experience, and/or FTE.

Position Summary

This position is responsible for answering phones to triage and determine the need for mobile crisis response, providing diagnostic and crisis assessment, crisis intervention and additional therapeutic services as indicated, as a member of a mobile crisis response team. Services are provided in-home (Mobile Crisis Response), office-based, and telehealth.

Schedule

Monday – Friday, typical hours are between the hours of 8am to 5pm

Minimum Qualifications
Practitioner
  • Possess a bachelor's degree or higher in behavioral sciences.
AND
  • Completed 2,000 or more hours of delivering supervised services to clients with mental illness, substance use disorder, or emotional disturbance
OR
  • Currently serving a federally recognized tribe and meets the definition of "vendor of medical care."
Preferred Qualification
  • Experience working with and/or delivering services to diverse populations
  • Experience delivering either in-home or crisis services
  • Experience with Electronic Health Record systems
