Job summary

Canvas Health in Chaska, MN is seeking a Mobile Crisis Clinical Trainee to triage and respond to mobile crisis needs, provide diagnostic assessments, and deliver crisis interventions. Services are provided in-home, in clinic settings, and through telehealth.

The role requires a Master's degree and licensure path toward LICSW/LMFT/LP/LPCC, with preferred crisis services experience and work with diverse populations.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, Psychology, or Clinical Counseling.
• Licensure path: pursuing LICSW, LMFT, LP or LPCC licensure.
• Experience with diverse populations preferred.
• Experience delivering crisis or in-home services preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answer phones to triage mobile crisis needs and determine service level.
• Provide diagnostic and crisis assessment and crisis intervention as indicated.

$5,000 Retention Bonus!!

The candidate selected for this position may be eligible for a retention bonus of up to $5,000. An initial sum of $2,500 will be paid after the completion of six months in this role, with the balance disbursed after twelve months of service. To qualify for the full bonus, the individual must maintain employment in this position for at least twelve months. The bonus is non-transferable to other roles.

Salary

This area has been designated as a Recruitment Desert. Employees who primarily work in a Recruitment Desert will receive a15% differential pay in addition to their base salary (which is already included in the salary range).

Clinical Trainee

Base Salary: $60,004.41 - $69,478.79/annually

Base salary + Recruitment Desert differential: $69,005.07 - $79,900.61/annually

The expected compensation range for this position represents a good faith estimate for this position and the specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, experience, and/or FTE.

Position Summary

This position is responsible for answering phones to triage and determine the need for mobile crisis response, providing diagnostic and crisis assessment, crisis intervention and additional therapeutic services as indicated, as a member of a mobile crisis response team. Services are provided in-home (Mobile Crisis Response), office-based, and telehealth.

Schedule

40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, between the hours of 8am to 5pm

Minimum Qualifications

Clinical Trainee

• Master's Degree in Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, Psychology, or Clinical Counseling and must be currently pursuing LICSW, LMFT, LP or LPCC licensure.

Preferred Qualification

• Experience working with and/or delivering services to diverse populations
• Experience delivering either in-home or crisis services
• Experience with Electronic Health Record systems
