Legacy Treatment Services Group is seeking a part-time Peer Support Specialist in Northfield, NJ 08225. You will lead engagement with consumers, provide non-clinical support after crisis resolution, and assist with risk assessment, safety planning, and referrals to services.

The role requires crisis intervention training, 2+ years recovery from SMI/SUD, 1+ year field experience, and relevant certifications. NJ driver’s license in good standing is required.

Competenze

• Must be trained in crisis intervention.
• At least 2 years of continuous recovery from an SMI or SUD.
• At least 1 year of field experience with community individuals.
• Certification from CRSP/CPRS/NCPRSS or equivalent.
• Driver's license in good standing.

Mansioni

• Lead on engagement with consumers and provide peer support.
• Provide non-clinical assistance after initial crisis resolution.
• Conduct risk assessments, safety planning, and linkage to services.
• Participate in DMHAS-approved de-escalation and crisis training.
• Work as part of a two-person Crisis Response team when needed.
