Legacy Treatment Services Group in Berlin, NJ is seeking a Part-Time Peer Support Specialist to engage with adults in crisis as part of the 988 Program. The role centers on peer-to-peer support, crisis assessment, and linkage to services, with a focus on de-escalation and supportive follow-up after crisis resolution.

Competenze

• Must be trained in crisis intervention.
• At least 2 years of continuous recovery from an SMI or SUD diagnosis and at least one year of field experience.
• Certification from CRSP/CPRS or equivalent credentialing entities required.

Mansioni

• Lead engagement with consumers and provide non-clinical assistance after initial crisis is resolved.
• Provide peer-to-peer support and crisis de-escalation.
• Assist with linkage to services and follow-up care as part of the 988 Program.
