Job summary

Cummins Behavioral Health Systems is seeking a full-time Certified Peer Support Professional (CPSP) to join our mobile crisis team in Greencastle, Indiana. The CPSP will leverage lived experience to support individuals in crisis and coordinate with local crisis systems.

The role involves risk assessment, de-escalation, and mobile outreach across Putnam County, with daytime orientation and training in the first 90 days. Indiana driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Must have lived experience with mental health and/or addictions.

• Must complete CPSP training with certification.

Responsibilities

• Manage crisis communication across telephone, in-person care, and mobile response as needed.
• Participate in risk assessments and de-escalation interventions for clients in crisis.
• Respond with mobile crisis teams in Hendricks County and surrounding areas.
• Maintain professional relationships with community agencies and professionals.
• Document notes in Electronic Medical Records for care teams.
