Qualifikationen

• Must be at least 19 years old.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• CPSS certification preferred or obtainable within 90 days of hire.
• At least 1 year of peer support experience.
• Valid driver’s license and liability insurance.
• Clear criminal and driving background checks.
• Commitment to WellStone’s standard of care and recovery.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-needs environment.
• Willingness to share lived experience to support others.
• Familiarity with HIPAA and EHR documentation.

Aufgaben

• Respond to crisis situations in community settings and in homes.
• Provide de-escalation and emotional support to individuals in crisis.
• Share personal lived experience to inspire hope and recovery.
• Assist with crisis assessment and safety planning.
• Collaborate with the crisis team and set short-term goals.
• Maintain accurate client progress notes and peer notes.
• Answer crisis phone and provide interventions when necessary.
• Connect clients with community resources.
• Attend team meetings and weekly supervision.
• Safely transport individuals as needed.
• Perform billing tasks and ensure proper documentation.
• Coordinate with law enforcement and first responders.
• Provide timely follow-ups after crisis responses.
