SC Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (BHDD) - Office of Mental Health in Spartanburg, SC is seeking a Mental Health Professional I to provide rapid crisis intervention and brief therapy to individuals and families in the community.

You will respond to calls with on‑call shifts and participate in coordination with county responders to ensure immediate safety and referral to follow‑up care.

Qualificações

• Master’s degree in guidance, counseling, the social sciences or related field.
• Clinical experience providing direct patient care (practicum/internship) during graduate program or post‑graduate training.
• Bilingual abilities in English and Spanish (or another language) are a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Provide emergency assessments of clients experiencing crisis and conduct face‑to‑face consultations, arriving within 60 minutes after call receipt.
• Serve as a crisis intervention provider by administering brief individual and/or family therapy and developing crisis safety plans.
• Participate in Intake/Mobile Crisis treatment meetings, supervision, and act as liaison to the local CMHC, informing partners about Mobile Crisis protocols.
• Adhere to Quality Assurance, Corporate Compliance, and Cultural Competency policies and mandatory trainings per Federal and State regulations.
