Job summary

Crestwood Behavioral Health is seeking an LVN or LPT to provide compassionate nursing care within our California campus. You will administer care per physician orders and supervise non-licensed staff on the unit.

Eligibility requires California LVN or LPT licensure, CPR, and a collaborative approach to care. Prior mental health nursing experience is preferred; on-call NOC shifts are part of the schedule.

Qualifications

• Current California LVN or LPT licensure.
• Knowledge of general nursing theory and practice.
• Ability to supervise.
• Ability to work cooperatively with other staff members.
• Previous experience in mental health nursing preferred.
• Current CPR and first aid certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to clients per physicians’ orders and standards.

Title: Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) | Licensed Psychiatric Technician (LPT)

Job Duties: The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) or Licensed Psychiatric Technician (LPT) provides direct nursing care to the clients according to physicians’ orders and applicable client care standards, within their scope of practice. The nurse will provide direction to non‑licensed personnel in providing direct client care and operating the unit.

• On‑Call: NOC

Qualifications:

• Current licensure in California as an LVN or LPT.


• Knowledge of general nursing theory and practice.


• Ability to supervise.

The salary range listed below represents the minimum and maximum base pay per hour at the time of posting. Final salary offered to the candidate selected for the position will be based on factors including but not limited to candidate's skills, experience, licensure, and program acuity.

Pay Range:

$35 - $40.57 USD
