Pacific Clinics is hiring for a Mobile Crisis worker in California to respond to acute mental health crises within the community. You will provide crisis assessment, de-escalation, and linkage to services, often coordinating with law enforcement and CSU partners.

The role demands shift work, sensitive communication, and timely documentation in accordance with MediCal regulations. A strong focus on safety and family engagement is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with related experience; two years of relevant experience equals one year of education.
• Mandatory crisis intervention certification within the first 30 days and annually.
• Ability to pass PATS physical abilities test if required by program.

Responsabilités

• Perform crisis assessment and de-escalation for adults and youth in mental health crises.
• Support crisis hotline activities, gather information, and provide stabilization resources as needed.
• Document services in line with MediCal regulations and meet productivity expectations.
• Engage families and natural supports with psychoeducation on de-escalation strategies.
• Facilitate transport and liaison with hospitals or CSU during 5150 holds as needed.
• Identify triggers and psychosocial factors; help develop risk management and safety plans.
• Provide linkage to community resources including housing, health, and social services.
