Job summary

Easterseals PORT Health in Northern Virginia is seeking a licensed or license-eligible Mobile Crisis Coordinator to support individuals in crisis and help them stabilize and engage with services.

The MCC will respond to crises, provide community stabilization, coordinate admissions for crisis homes, and travel across Arlington, Alexandria, Fairfax, Loudoun, and Prince William. A rotating on-call schedule and 12-hour shifts are included, along with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in license-eligible field (social work, counseling).
• Licensed or license-eligible as a LCSW, LPC, LMFT.
• 1 year experience with mental health populations and I/DD preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for travel.
• Proficiency with EHR systems and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Respond to crises with a calm, caring presence and connect individuals to services.
• Provide community stabilization sessions and coordinate admissions for crisis homes.
• Build partnerships with local agencies and support rotating on-call coverage.

Your Role in Our Mission
The REACH Mobile Crisis Coordinator (MCC) plays a vital role in bringing a calm, caring presence and connection to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) who are experiencing a behavioral health crisis. This response includes meeting the individual in an environment where they are comfortable to facilitate service engagement, stabilization, and resolution of the crisis when possible. Beyond crisis response, you’ll provide community stabilization sessions, build and maintain strong partnerships with local agencies, and coordinate admissions for our crisis homes. You’ll also be part of a rotating on-call schedule to ensure help is always within reach. This position requires community travel to: Arlington, Alexandria, Fairfax, Loudoun, and Prince William VA. (Candidates must reside or be willing to relocate to one of the mentioned locations).

Schedule

• 12-hour shifts 9a-9p and (1) 4-hour shift: Sunday – Wednesday

We also offer a full benefits package for benefits-eligible positions.
Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive salary: $61,000 – $70,000 based on possible licensure and experience
• Sign-on & retention bonus is paid out at successful completion of 90 days, 6 months, and 1 year for full-time, new hires. Plus, enjoy additional yearly stipends provided as grant funding permits!

What We’re Looking For

• Education: Master’s degree in a license-eligible field (social work, counseling)
