Job summary

Frontier Behavioral Health in Spokane is seeking a Crisis Clinician to provide telephonic and outreach crisis intervention, rapid response, assessment, and supportive counseling to individuals and families. You will link to community resources, assist with Medicaid enrollment when appropriate, and coordinate services for ongoing treatment and stabilization.

Qualifications

• Provide initial and follow-up triage, assessment, and de-escalation for crisis.
• Offer crisis and hospital diversion and facilitate access to resources.
• Refer to community stabilization and designated crisis resources.
• Complete risk assessments for suicide/homicide and document findings.
• Collaborate with Mobile Dispatch Unit and supervisor for high-risk cases.

Responsibilities

• Provide initial and follow-up phone and face-to-face assessments for at-risk individuals.
• Create recovery and safety plans with the client and support network.
• Refer eligible clients to Trueblood forensic programs as appropriate.
• Engage with clients to coordinate stabilization and ongoing services.
• Document thoroughly to support safety plans and case management.
