Job summary

Community Counseling of Bristol County (CCBC) in Taunton, MA seeks a Jail Diversion Clinician for the Mobile Crisis Intervention Co-Response Program. You will collaborate with police, EMS, and fire to conduct crisis evaluations and provide brief, solution-focused counseling to individuals and families.

Responsibilities include crisis intervention, safety planning, care coordination, HIPAA-compliant documentation, and connecting clients to mental health and community resources.

Qualifications

• The candidate must hold a license-eligible Master's degree or be independently licensed as LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT.
• Licensure supervision is available.
• Strong organizational, verbal, written and computer skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency diagnostic evaluations and phone triage to assess lethality and determine treatment plans.
• Deliver real-time crisis response and follow-up care for 911 and police calls with law enforcement.
• Develop safety plans and crisis management strategies to stabilize clients and families.
• Assist law enforcement with emergency psychiatric and substance use holds (Sections 12, 35, and 18).
• Connect families to services across the continuum of care and coordinate referrals.
• Maintain records and ensure HIPAA-compliant documentation; participate in supervision and trainings.
