Job summary

High Point & Affiliated Organizations seeks a Mobile Crisis Master Clinician for per diem shifts in Brockton, MA. Master’s level clinician with behavioral health expertise will provide direct assessments, counseling, and discharge planning within an outpatient setting.

Qualifications

• Masters degree in Behavioral Health field; Licensed preferred.
• Independently licensed Behavioral Health Clinician (LICSW/LMHC/LMFT/LADC1/LABA) preferred.
• Ability to provide leadership and program development within an outpatient site.
• Knowledge of major clinical therapeutic models and behavioral health best practices.
• Strong organizational, verbal and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of electronic medical records and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain current licensure or certificates.
• Comply with Federal Regulations (42 CFR Part 2, HIPAA).
• Participate in Treatment Team Meetings.
• Perform crisis intervention and screen patients at risk.
• Maintain assigned caseload and provide direct patient care (assessments, counseling, discharge planning, treatment plans, notes, groups).
• Document thoroughly and timely; ensure accurate charting.
• Coordinate with aftercare services prior to discharge and assist patient access to outpatient services.
• Attend unit and facility meetings and mandatory trainings.
• Obtain necessary insurance authorizations as needed.
