Job summary

High Point & SEMCOA seeks a Mobile Crisis Intervention Clinician on a per diem basis in Brockton, MA. The role supports crisis intervention assessments, linkage to services, and referrals for inpatient or outpatient care.

A Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, or social sciences is preferred, with 2+ years in behavioral health desirable. The position offers flexible shifts, opportunities to work with an interdisciplinary team, and a pathway to broader crisis services within the CBHC

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with major preferred in psychology, social work, or social sciences.
• At least two years of behavioral health experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of psychiatric levels of care and medical admission criteria preferred.

Responsibilities

• Link patients with aftercare services and access outpatient services when appropriate.
• Evaluate with patients what helped previously and barriers to avoid re-hospitalization.
• Provide post-evaluation follow-up in person or by phone as indicated.
• Monitor patients onsite during disposition planning or boarding.
• Respond to emergency calls with triage and resource referrals.
• Verify insurance benefits and eligibility.
• Triage calls and report to program director or supervisor.
• Complete safety screens for community-based evaluations.
• Assist with daily protocols and update case tracking.
• Document interventions and outcomes in the electronic health record.
