Job summary

High Point & Affiliated Organizations is seeking a Mobile Crisis Master Clinician on a per diem basis to support Brockton-based crisis services. The role requires a Masters in Behavioral Health and preferred licensure, with pay between $33 and $39 per hour and a flexible shift schedule.

The per diem clinician will provide crisis intervention, assessments, individual counseling, and treatment planning within an outpatient setting, while maintaining documentation and coordinating with the clinical

Qualifications

• Masters or Doctoral degree in Human Services related field required.
• Independently licensed Behavioral Health Clinician preferred (LICSW/ LMHC/ LMFT/ LADC1/LABA).
• Crisis intervention and risk screening experience desired.
• Experience using electronic medical records and HIPAA compliance.

Responsibilities

• Provide crisis intervention and screen patients at risk.
• Maintain assigned caseload and provide direct care to patients.
• Develop discharge plans, treatment plans and daily progress notes.
• Document thoroughly in the EMR and coordinate with the treatment team.
• Lead or participate in case conferences and trainings as directed.

Masters Level Clinician Duties and Responsibilities:

• Maintains and submits any current Licensure or Certificate necessary for the performance of the position;
• Comply with Federal Regulations, 42 CFR Part 2, Confidentiality of Alcohol Abuse Policy and HIPAA Regulations;
• Participate in Treatment Team Meetings;
• Crisis intervention and screening for patients at risk;
• Maintain assigned caseload;
• Providing direct care to patients - including assessments of the new patients, individual counseling, discharge planning, treatment plans, daily progress notes, daily groups, group note completion and completion of bio-psychosocial assessments;
• Responsible for each assigned patients medical All records are to be professional, complete and thorough with entries made in a timely manners;
• Provide direct care to the This care will include, but not limited to, individual counseling, group facilitation, lectures, orientation for new patient's. discharge and aftercare planning, and case management of patients assigned;
• Responsible for linking patient's with aftercare services prior to discharge and aiding the
• patient and his/her family access outpatient services when appropriate;
• Attend all unit, facility meetings and case conferences as directed by the Clinical Director; Attend mandatory trainings;
• Responsible for contacting the insurance company for authorization, as needed;
• Utilize standards precautions at all times;
• Demonstrates behaviors that recognize the rights of patients as defined by the patient's
• rights;
• Other duties as assigned by the Clinical Program Director, Clinical Supervisor or Assistant Program

Masters Level Clinician Qualifications:

• Master/Doctoral degree in Human Services related field such as psychology or social work required;
• Independently licensed Behavioral Health Clinician, including: LICSW/ LMHC/ LMFT/ LADC1/LABA,
