Job summary

Rosecrance in Crystal Lake, IL is seeking a Mobile Crisis Response Mental Health Clinician for the second shift to provide rehabilitation services to children and families. The role aims to reduce hospitalizations and crisis episodes while improving community functioning, with on-site work and travel to crisis sites within 90 minutes of each call.

Hours are Monday–Friday 3:30pm–12am; starting pay ranges $27.37/hour for a Bachelor's degree and $31.10/hour for a Master's, with +$1/hour for second

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling and Guidance, Rehabilitation Counseling, Vocational Counseling, Pastoral Counseling, or Family Therapy or related field; Master's preferred.
• Experience in mental health treatment and ability to conduct individual, group and family counseling.
• Provide case management, treatment planning, and discharge planning for clients; complete documentation on time.

Responsibilities

• Stabilization, linkage services, and family consultations.
• Answer crisis calls and respond to mental health crises in McHenry County.
• Drive to crisis locations within 90 minutes of receiving the crisis call.
• Coordinate services from multiple community resources and deliver evidence-based practices.
