Job summary

MasTec Industrial is seeking a Crane Operator Journeyman >300 Ton to support its Rapid City projects. You will operate mobile cranes, rig loads, and work with installation crews on heavy industrial sites, ensuring safety and adherence to load charts.

Responsibilities include daily safety checks, documentation, and collaboration with supervision. Strong knowledge of load charts and experience with crane operations across challenging environments are valued.

Qualifications

• Valid license to operate project-site mobile cranes.
• Ability to read and interpret load charts.
• Strong safety mindset and toolbox meeting participation.
• Willingness to work in varying weather and long shifts.

Responsibilities

• Operate mobile crane and move materials safely.
• Participate in lift planning as required.
• Inspect rigging and attachments per load chart guidelines.
• Perform daily safety checks and follow OSHA rules.
• Complete documentation and assist other crews as needed.
