Job summary

MasTec Industrial in the United States seeks an experienced Crane Operator to operate mobile cranes on project sites and work with installation crews to move materials safely under demanding industrial conditions.

The role requires a minimum of five years crane operating experience and NCCCO/NCCER certification. DOT physicals must be current, safety standards observed, and travel to project sites up to 90% of the time expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum five (5) years of verifiable experience operating cranes.
• Equipment Operator training and certificate from NCCCO, NCCER, or from an approved 3rd Party certification body.

Responsibilities

• Operate mobile crane and move materials to various locations in a safe and effective manner.
• Participate in all lift planning as required.
• Inspect and rig according to load charts and manufacturer guidelines prior to lifting loads.
• Calculate lifting capacities and center of gravity for loads.
• Perform daily safety checks and maintain equipment per manufacturer and company recommendations.
• Interact with installation crews for material movement and coordinate with project teams.
• Complete documentation and perform limited office duties as needed.
