Job summary

MEI Industrial Solutions is seeking a Crane Operator to operate a range of heavy cranes, coordinate with riggers and site supervision, and maintain safety and equipment logs at customer sites.

You will perform inspections, assist with setup, and work with a ground crew as needed, including lifting, moving loads, and signaling for precise placement while adhering to safety protocols and OSHA standards.

Qualifications

• Two years of crane operation experience.
• Knowledge of rigging, cranes, and commercial moving and storage.
• Current NCCCO, TLL (TSS preferred) or equivalent crane operator certification.
• OSHA regulations and ANSI standards in crane operations.

Responsibilities

• Operate various crane types (All Terrain, Rough Terrain, Crawlers, Industrial, Hydraulic Trucks, Conventional Trucks, Boom Trucks).
• Direct activities of oilers, truck drivers or helpers during assembly/disassembly.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and routine maintenance.
• Carry tools for running repairs and ensure safety measures.
• Barricade tail swing and working radius; follow company safety rules and PPE requirements.
