Job summary

B&B Concrete is seeking a Commercial Concrete Finisher in Lincoln, Nebraska. You will perform carpentry tasks to prep, pour, place and finish concrete, including setting forms for floors, walls and structures per drawings.

Responsibilities include reading drawings, building and erecting forms, ensuring correct elevations, coordinating with foremen, and maintaining safety. Experience in construction helps; strong communication and attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Read and understand drawings and prints.
• Build and assemble forms for concrete structures and site work.
• Set and place forms to elevations and assist with reinforcing steel.
• Erect forms using various materials and systems, primarily symon forms.
• Verify accuracy using plumb bob, level, laser or transit.
• Erect scaffolding and ladders for above-ground work.
• Communicate with Foreman, Riding Boss, or Project Manager about issues or safety hazards.
• Ensure equipment is in safe working condition.
• Assist with placing concrete as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
