Job summary

B in Omaha is seeking a Commercial Concrete Finisher to perform carpentry tasks related to prepping, pouring, placing, and finishing concrete. You will construct forms for floors, walls, and elevated slabs, and assist with concrete placement per specifications.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand drawings and prints.
• Build and assemble wood or metal forms for concrete structures.
• Set and place forms to proper elevations and locations; aid in reinforcing steel installation.
• Erect forms using various materials and forming systems (symon forms).
• Verify accuracy using plumb bob, level, laser, or transit.
• Erect scaffolding and ladders for above-ground work.
• Communicate with Foreman, Riding Boss, or Project Manager about problems, materials, or safety hazards.
• Ensure equipment is in safe working condition.
• Assist with placement of concrete as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
