Responsibilities

• Read and understand drawings and prints.
• Build and/or assemble wood or metal forms for concrete work.
• Set and place forms to proper elevations and locations; assist with reinforcing steel.
• Set and erect forms using various materials and forming systems, including symon forms.
• Verify accuracy of structures using plumb bob, carpenter's level, laser or digital transit.
• Erect scaffolding and ladders for work above ground level.
• Communicate safety needs and material requirements with Foreman or Project Manager.
• Ensure equipment is safe to operate.
• Assist in placing concrete as needed.
• Observe and comply with safety policies and guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
