Job summary

B&B Concrete Contractors in Oklahoma City is seeking a Commercial Concrete Finisher to perform carpentry tasks related to prepping, pouring, placing, and finishing concrete. Duties include erecting and setting forms for foundations, floors, walls, columns, and tilt-walls per specs and drawings.

The role requires reading drawings, building forms, placing forms to elevations, and assisting with reinforcing steel, with emphasis on safety and accuracy.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand drawings and prints.
• Build and/ or assemble wood or metal forms for concrete components.
• Set forms to elevations and locations; assist with reinforcing steel.
• Set and erect forms using various materials and forming systems, primarily symon forms.
• Verify accuracy of structures using levels and transit.
• Erect scaffolding and ladders for above-ground work.
• Communicate with Foreman, Riding Boss, or Project Manager about issues, materials or safety.
• Ensure equipment is in safe working condition.
• Assist with placement of concrete as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
