BMSI is seeking a Mobile Commercial Engineer to service commercial properties in the Washington, D.C. area. The role involves traveling between assigned properties to perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot equipment, complete repairs, and respond to service calls.

Qualifikationen

• Three years of commercial HVAC service experience preferred
• Troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, and control systems
• EPA Section 608 Universal Certification required
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
• Ability to read wiring diagrams, equipment manuals, and control schematics
• Professional appearance and strong customer-service skills
• Ability to use a smartphone or tablet for scheduling and documentation
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work on ladders/roofs
• Willingness to travel throughout the MD/DC/VA service area

Aufgaben

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on commercial HVAC equipment
• Diagnose and repair rooftop units, split systems, heat pumps, air handlers, and related equipment
• Inspect belts, filters, motors, bearings, electrical components, refrigerant circuits, and controls
• Respond to routine and emergency service calls
• Identify equipment deficiencies and recommend repairs or replacements
• Complete service reports and documentation
• Communicate with property managers, engineers, tenants, vendors, and service team
• Maintain organized inventory in service vehicle
• Follow safety, environmental, and refrigerant-handling requirements
• Participate in on-call rotation
