Zusammenfassung

BMSI is seeking an experienced Mobile Commercial Engineer to service commercial properties in Washington, DC. The technician will travel between assigned properties to perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot equipment, complete repairs, and respond to service calls, working independently and communicating professionally with clients.

The role requires the ability to document completed work accurately and maintain good customer relations while adhering to safety standards.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum of 3 years of commercial HVAC service experience.
• EPA 608 Universal Certification required.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Ability to travel across the Maryland, D.C., and Virginia service area.

Aufgaben

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on commercial HVAC equipment.
• Diagnose and repair rooftop units, split systems, heat pumps, air handlers, exhaust fans, pumps, and related equipment.
• Inspect belts, filters, motors, bearings, electrical components, refrigerant circuits, and controls.
• Respond to routine and emergency service calls.
• Identify equipment deficiencies and recommend repairs or replacements.
• Complete service reports and maintenance checklists with photos.
• Communicate clearly with property managers, building engineers, tenants, vendors, and the service team.
• Maintain an organized inventory of tools, parts, and materials in the service vehicle.
• Follow safety and refrigerant-handling requirements.
• Participate in on-call rotations when required.
