Job summary

HFO Chicago is seeking a Field Service Maintenance Technician to travel to customer sites, perform installation and preventative maintenance on CNC equipment, and document service activities. A company vehicle is provided for travel.

Prior CNC experience is a plus but not required, making this a great entry into a growing, nationwide service team. Applicants should have mechanical or electrical repair skills, strong communication, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Experience in mechanical or electrical repair is required.
• Ability to read and follow procedures and how-to guides.
• Proficient with laptops and mobile devices; software apps used in service.
• Excellent communication skills are essential.
• Must be able to lift 40–50 lbs and travel regionally.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer sites to install and perform maintenance inspections.
• Use online documents and videos to guide maintenance procedures.
• Submit accurate service documentation to office and customers.
• Training in maintenance procedures during onboarding.
