Job summary

CHSI is seeking a Mobile Clinic Driver/Technician to transport the mobile clinic, perform maintenance, and ensure safety and reliability of facilities and equipment. Responsibilities include driving the mobile unit, scheduling service, inspecting plumbing and electrical systems, and performing repairs as needed.

The role requires a high school diploma, a clean driving record, and possession of a CA Class C license with automobile insurance. Some weekend or evening work may be required.

Qualifications

• Must have a clean driving record and a valid CA Class C license with automobile insurance.
• High school graduate or GED.
• Previous maintenance/handyman experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer service to the population served.
• Map out routes and adjust for traffic to ensure timely mobile unit travel.
• Schedule and coordinate maintenance for mobile units and facilities.
• Inspect and repair plumbing, electrical and safety systems in the mobile unit.
• Perform routine cleaning, repairs and preventive maintenance on mobile clinics.
• Travel regularly between health center locations and be available for evenings or weekends as needed.
