Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking skilled HVAC Technicians to support residential and ducted HVAC products across North America, including chillers and AHUs. You will be involved from startup and commissioning through aftermarket service, emphasizing safety and customer satisfaction.

We provide STA certification, tools, uniforms, and a company vehicle, plus incentive programs. Travel 10–20% may be required and UA union participation is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of practical working experience on residential/ducted HVAC equipment.
• Experience with air cooled and/or water cooled chillers, AHUs or RTUs.
• Knowledge of repairing centrifugal compressors and turbines.
• EPA refrigerants license and valid driver's license.
• Willingness to travel 10–20% to support branch activities.
• Must pass a knowledge examination and engage in ongoing training.

Responsibilities

• Provide the highest level of service to solve facility inefficiencies and post-install issues.
• Act as trusted advisor with quotes and recommendations during commissioning and aftermarket service.
• Identify upsell opportunities and prepare quotes to support recommendations.
• Collaborate with local market mechanics and uphold safety standards.
